Muscat: The Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) has issued a notice for its consumer regarding the meter self-reading service.
A statement issued online by MEDC said, "We would like to confirm that meter self-reading service for consumers is still available for the same usual period from 15th to 25th of this month (January 2021). However, the company will not issue bills immediately till the end of January. This is to ensure that application of the new electricity tariff approved by the Council of Ministers, effective from 1st January 2021."
